Are your technicians and engineers DBS checked?

Yes, all field-based staff members have enhanced DBS checks; copies of these are carried to each site.

Yes, all technicians are trained with the curriculum management tool and the KLZ User Management Tool.

Do you support AdEPT Education / Medway Grid for Learning schools?

Yes, all technicians are trained using the AdEPT Education myUSO portal as well as the Office365 administration tools.

Do you support Print Management solutions?

Yes, we support various solutions, including PaperCut.

Do you support any Mobile Device Management solutions?

Yes, all technicians are trained using Lightspeed MDM and Cisco Meraki MDM.

When can your technicians visits?

Each contract is tailor-made to your site, site attendance is school term time, between the hours of 08:00-16:00.

What packages do your offer?

We can offer a range of tailored packages, dependant on your school’s budget, size, and complexity of your infrastructure. We understand having a fixed monthly cost makes budgeting far easier to manage.

We already have an IT team, how would this work?

Should your IT team need support, be it for large projects, sick/annual leave cover or as a general helping hand – you can count on us to work alongside your staff to increase productivity and efficiency.

Which vendors do you work with?

We are vendor neutral, allowing us to support and grow your existing infrastructure. We have trusted partners who we recommend, but you are in control.

Can you repair devices, such as laptop screens or faulty hard-disk-drives?

Yes, our technicians are trained in replacing faulty components such as screens, wireless cards, graphics cards, RAM and HDDs. We make recommendations based on hardware requirements and usage patterns

Do you offer a leasing contract on Touchscreens?

Yes, we can assist you in arranging a leasing contract via reputable suppliers.

Can the software I am using on my current panel be used on other branded panels?

Yes, however, the software is designed with a specific brand in mind, so there may be limitations to some functionality and access to support and updates.

There may be additional software costs to consider.

Can you install touchscreen panels in a mobile class room?

Yes, we can install touchscreen panels on any wall, during our site survey we will establish if any reinforcement is required, and will quote for all aspects of the installation.

Can you dispose of redundant kit after installation of new kit?

We do have a disposal service that we can include in your quote, however, normally it is the customers’ responsibility to dispose of redundant kit.

I have working equipment that we no longer need, can you recommend anywhere that we could donate it to?

We co-sponsored the Green School Awards with Loop CR who may be able to help you with the disposal of your existing equipment depending on your location.


Do you offer training and demonstrations on panels that we are interested in?

Yes, we can organise demonstrations and loan units prior to quote to help you make the right choice for your school.

What happens when my Ruckus support expires?

“If the support entitlement is not renewed the warranty will revert to a ‘return to base’ warranty, requiring the defective hardware to be shipped to the Ruckus repair centre in The Netherlands for repair/replacement.

Please note…

– A typical return to base repair or replacement takes 10-14 working days during which period the wireless network will not be available

– This warranty is hardware only and does not include installation and configuration of the replacement unit.

– 3 months after the support renewal quotation is sent, the 1 year option is removed. Only the 3 year option is left available.”

IP CCTV and Access Control

My analogue CCTV system is starting to go wrong but I can’t afford to scrap it and install a whole new IP CCTV system

An IP CCTV system can be installed on your network.  If you have an existing analogue CCTV system that is getting old and running into problems with cameras and/or DVR failing, there is no need to scrap the whole system. The equipment that still works can be incorporated into a new networked system. Existing analogue cameras can run alongside new IP cameras.  Then, as and when a camera fails and needs replacing, a new IP camera can be installed onto your network. This avoids the expense of a whole new system in one go and gives you the ability to spread the cost to suit your budget.
